Many Call Themselves Christians

Transcript from the Radio Series : Who Do You Choose To Serve?
Many who call themselves Christians, or profess to follow the Lord Jesus Christ have it seems,  without reservation, abandoned the Creator of the Universe and have decided that their own values and morals as well as a new standard of good and evil are now defined by whatever is perceived to be social justice. These new moral standards are being determined in the United States by judges, the congress, executive order and the media and are then without shame being accepted by many of those who call themselves Christians. This re-write of morality is pronounced to be politically correct and any speech or action that opposes it is now considered hate and bigotry.
This current generation of Americans have been most blessed, really without want or need, a generation after World War II that has seen expanded commercial air flight, space travel, reliable automobiles, massive road systems, cheap energy, television, and now the digital world to include cell phones, computers and the internet along with all types of recreation, entertainment and tremendous prosperity well beyond the world’s standards.  Communication, knowledge and travel have greatly increased.  However: we have now without shame or embarrassment gleefully and with pride engaged in the lustful passions of sin without reservation or guilt on a national level. Our conscience has been seared.  We deny there is a Creator. We murder innocent babies even using public funding to do so; have abandoned the establishment of the family, the sanctity and purity of marriage, and have re-defined marriage to be the lustful passion between whomever one chooses as a partner. As it was in the time of Noah and as what was given to Paul through the Holy Spirit of the Living God in the Book of Romans has most certainly come to pass.
Romans 1:20–32 (NASB95) 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.
If you are trying to convince yourself that this is not the state of our society today; then it is just a denial of the reality of the sin and cesspool of filth we live in. It seems as if most of our Christian churches, denominations, and leaders rather than being appalled by what is happening and crying out to all who will listen; appear to wholeheartedly embrace, condone and even celebrate this new set of values proclaiming enlightenment and diversity in the church and in their own personal lives. Then with lust they certainly do not call this abomination of activity sin; no they engage and even promote these new attitudes and deeds proclaiming to the world that good is evil and evil is good; yes denying the moral law of God.
What “Jesus” do they follow? Certainly not the Lord Jesus Christ; sitting at the right hand of the Father; crowned Lord of Lords and King of Kings. Not the Lord Jesus Christ, who was made man, came and lived among us experiencing our every temptation yet remaining holy without sin. He, by His own choice offered Himself as an acceptable sacrifice on the cross to be crucified; shedding His innocent blood that all who are willing to believe in Him may be redeemed by His Holy and precious blood paying the eternal death penalty we all deserve. Those who choose Him are literally born again and are given His Holy Spirit to be with us and in us that we may be adopted and sons and daughters of the Living God and have eternal life.
Most certainly we are called upon to love our neighbor, but those who are born again, those whose names are written in The Lamb’s Book of Life are not to tread on His Holy Word and use His Blood to condone, celebrate and embrace sin, claiming we have a license to do so with impunity. (Go and read the book of Jude and Hebrews 10: )
Psalm 89:11–18 (NASB95) 11 The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all it contains, You have founded them. 12 The north and the south, You have created them; Tabor and Hermon shout for joy at Your name. 13 You have a strong arm; Your hand is mighty, Your right hand is exalted. 14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Lovingkindness and truth go before You. 15 How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O Lord, they walk in the light of Your countenance. 16 In Your name they rejoice all the day, And by Your righteousness they are exalted. 17 For You are the glory of their strength, And by Your favor our horn is exalted. 18 For our shield belongs to the Lord, And our king to the Holy One of Israel.
As Your Word declares “Righteousness and Justice are the foundation of Your throne”. So where are Your sons and daughters, saved by grace, humbled before You, washed by the Blood of the Lamb, reverent and fearful of the Lord of Creation? Those who are filled with the Holy Spirit of the Living God, being Holy for He is Holy by the Blood of the Lamb, not by their own power, but by the Power of the Holy Spirit of the Living God.
Do they exist in the country at this time?
Where are those unwilling to compromise, unafraid to speak out, unwilling to deny Him before man, those who stand on His Truth and His Word. Where are they in the churches? Why don’t we see them on the street corners, on the radio and television;, in congress and in our government and places of business? Are not they the ones identified and marked with His seal; and by their actions, choices and the fruit they bear declare to the entire universe whose they are. They are sons and daughters of the Living God, born again of the Water and the Spirit, reverent, obedient and humble to the King. Knowing His Word and hearing His voice. They are in this world but not of this world, choosing to serve the Creator of the Universe rather that the god of this world.
Yes they exist, but where is their boldness? Where is their voice being heard?
The choice each one of us will make is simple; and there are only two choices. Two doors stand before us; Life or Death.  Either you choose Life and are saved by the Blood of the Lamb because you believe, have faith and trust in Him; or you choose Death and will perish with the god of this world and all of those who choose to follow and serve him. Our choice becomes evident for the entire universe to see by the fruit we bear.  Go and read Matthew 7: with emphasis on verses 13-29.
