To: ALL WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR
From: GOD THE FATHER, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIS SON and Ministered through the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, The Helper, that He may be with you forever. [John 14:16]
Subject: MY WORD; John 1:1 (NKJV) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 (NKJV) 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Who is the god of this world? The choice we have berfore us is to serve the god of this world or serve the Creator of all the Heavens and the Earth.
Dear Lord, please open our eyes and our ears that we may see and hear. Amen
John 8:25–52 (The Living Bible) 25 “Tell us who you are,” they demanded. He replied, “I am the one I have always claimed to be. 26 I could condemn you for much and teach you much, but I won’t, for I say only what I am told to by the one who sent me; and he is Truth.” 27 But they still didn’t understand that he was talking to them about God. 28 So Jesus said, “When you have killed the Messiah, then you will realize that I am he and that I have not been telling you my own ideas, but have spoken what the Father taught me. 29 And he who sent me is with me—he has not deserted me—for I always do those things that are pleasing to him.” 30 Then many of the Jewish leaders who heard him say these things began believing him to be the Messiah. Jesus said to them, “You are truly my disciples if you live as I tell you to, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 33 “But we are descendants of Abraham,” they said, “and have never been slaves to any man on earth! What do you mean, ‘set free’?” 34 Jesus replied, “You are slaves of sin, every one of you. 35 And slaves don’t have rights, but the Son has every right there is! 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will indeed be free—37 (Yes, I realize that you are descendants of Abraham!) And yet some of you are trying to kill me because my message does not find a home within your hearts. 38 I am telling you what I saw when I was with my Father. But you are following the advice of your father.” 39 “Our father is Abraham,” they declared. “No!” Jesus replied, “for if he were, you would follow his good example. 40 But instead you are trying to kill me—and all because I told you the truth I heard from God. Abraham wouldn’t do a thing like that! 41 No, you are obeying your real father when you act that way.” They replied, “We were not born out of wedlock—our true Father is God himself.” 42 Jesus told them, “If that were so, then you would love me, for I have come to you from God. I am not here on my own, but he sent me. 43 Why can’t you understand what I am saying? It is because you are prevented from doing so! 44 For you are the children of your father the devil and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning and a hater of truth—there is not an iota of truth in him. When he lies, it is perfectly normal; for he is the father of liars. 45 And so when I tell the truth, you just naturally don’t believe it! 46 “Which of you can truthfully accuse me of one single sin? No one! And since I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47 Anyone whose Father is God listens gladly to the words of God. Since you don’t, it proves you aren’t his children.” 48 “You Samaritan! Foreigner! Devil!” the Jewish leaders snarled. “Didn’t we say all along you were possessed by a demon?” 49 “No,” Jesus said, “I have no demon in me. For I honor my Father—and you dishonor me. 50 And though I have no wish to make myself great, God wants this for me and judges those who reject me. 51 With all the earnestness I have I tell you this—no one who obeys me shall ever die!”
These are the words of the Lord Jesus Christ speaking directly to you and me. They are as important and relevant to us today as they were at the time He spoke them. Thank You Lord
Dear Lord please send your Holy Spirit to be with us. Anoint us with heavenly wisdom and heavenly understanding, that we may seek you with a willing heart and discern your word with heavenly wisdom. That we may understand heavenly things not with the wisdom of me but with heavenly understanding. Amen
Let us continue now with other passages that are clear confirmation that He and He alone is truth.
2 Samuel 7:28–29 (The Living Bible) 28 For you are indeed God, and your words are truth; and you have promised me these good things—29 so do as you have promised! Bless me and my family forever! May our dynasty continue on and on before you; for you, Lord God, have promised it.”
1 Kings 17:24 (NASB95) 24 Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.”
Psalm 15:1–4 (NASB95) 1 O Lord, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy hill? 2 He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, And speaks truth in his heart. 3 He does not slander with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor takes up a reproach against his friend; 4 In whose eyes a reprobate is despised, But who honors those who fear the Lord; He swears to his own hurt and does not change;
Psalm 25:8–14 (The Living Bible) 8 The Lord is good and glad to teach the proper path to all who go astray; 9 he will teach the ways that are right and best to those who humbly turn to him. 10 And when we obey him, every path he guides us on is fragrant with his loving-kindness and his truth. 11 But Lord, my sins! How many they are. Oh, pardon them for the honor of your name. 12 Where is the man who fears the Lord? God will teach him how to choose the best. 13 He shall live within God’s circle of blessing, and his children shall inherit the earth. 14 Friendship with God is reserved for those who reverence him. With them alone he shares the secrets of his promises.
Psalm 25:5 (NASB95) 5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.
Psalm 31:5 (NASB95) 5 Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have ransomed me, O Lord, God of truth.
Psalm 86:10–12 (NASB95) 10 For You are great and do wondrous deeds; You alone are God. 11 Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. 12 I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And will glorify Your name forever.
Psalm 111:6–10 (NASB95) 6 He has made known to His people the power of His works, In giving them the heritage of the nations. 7 The works of His hands are truth and justice; All His precepts are sure. 8 They are upheld forever and ever; They are performed in truth and uprightness. 9 He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained His covenant forever; Holy and awesome is His name. 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever.
John 1:14 (The Living Bible) 14 And Christ became a human being and lived here on earth among us and was full of loving forgiveness and truth. And some of us have seen his glory—the glory of the only Son of the heavenly Father!
John 1:14 (AV) 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:17 (AV) 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
John 3:21 (NKJV) 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
John 4:21–24 (NASB95) 21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 “You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 “But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. 24 “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
John 8:31–32 (NASB95) 31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
John 14:6–7 (NKJV) 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
John 14:6–7 (The Living Bible) 6 Jesus told him, “I am the Way—yes, and the Truth and the Life. No one can get to the Father except by means of me. 7 If you had known who I am, then you would have known who my Father is. From now on you know him—and have seen him!”
John 14:16–17 (NASB95) 16 “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
John 17:15–17 (NASB95) 15 “I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. 16 “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.
John 18:36–38 (NKJV) 36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” 37 Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” 38 Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” ….
The entire Bible is confirmation that He is who He says He is (go and read all of it) and that He is not only The Word of God but He is Truth. So the question remains; Who Do You Choose to Serve? Do you choose to serve the god of this world: the father of lies.
Or, do you choose to serve He who is the Creator of all things, He who is Holy, who is perfect, Who is Truth? Each of us must make this choice.
All to His Glory!
