Preach My Word - Teach My Word

Transcript from the Radio Series : Who Do You Choose To Serve?
To Those He has called to be Preachers and Teachers:
In the previous messages the Lord has clearly shown us and told us from His Word and by and through His Holy Spirit that in order to inherit the Kingdom of God and Have Eternal life we must:
  • Must Be Born Again, John 3:3–7 (The Living Bible) 3 Jesus replied, “With all the earnestness I possess I tell you this: Unless you are born again, you can never get into the Kingdom of God.” 4 “Born again!” exclaimed Nicodemus. “What do you mean? How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” 5 Jesus replied, “What I am telling you so earnestly is this: Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. 6 Men can only reproduce human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven; 7 so don’t be surprised at my statement that you must be born again!
  • Believe In Him  John 3:16 (NASB95) 16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
  • We Must Have The Faith And Humility Of A Child.  Luke 18:16–17 (The Living Bible) 16 Then Jesus called the children over to him and said to the disciples, “Let the little children come to me! Never send them away! For the Kingdom of God belongs to men who have hearts as trusting as these little children’s. And anyone who doesn’t have their kind of faith will never get within the Kingdom’s gates.”
  • Love Him With All Our Heart, Soul And Mind And Love Our Neighbor As Ourself. Matthew 22:37–40 (The Living Bible) 37 Jesus replied, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. The second most important is similar: ‘Love your neighbor as much as you love yourself.’ 40 All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets stem from these two laws and are fulfilled if you obey them. Keep only these and you will find that you are obeying all the others.”
  • We Must Obey Him. John 3:36 (NASB95) 36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
  • We Cannot Practice Sin. 1 John 3:7–9 (NASB95) 7 Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God.  He is the Rock of our Salvation, the cornerstone and foundation of our faith, “He is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us.” His precious, holy and sinless blood was shed for the remission of our sins and eternal life is His gift for “whosever will believe in Him”, the gift of eternal salvation.
From His Word we learn that we are to come to Him with the faith and trust of a child. What does that mean? Well, we all start off as new babies in Christ.
  • We come to him because the Father has drawn us.  John 6:,
  • We come to Him because we see our own sin and are ashamed.
  • We come to him because He is our Lord, our Savior and our King.
  • We come to him because He has said He will carry our burdens.
  • We come to him because all things are possible through Him,
  • We come to Him because He is the light of the world and there is no darkness in Him.
He is a perfect and Just God and Judge and we know this and know that He will make all things new.
Okay; now if you have done these things, repented of your sins, and asked Him into your life for real and from your heart; if you truly love Him with all your Heart Your Soul, your strength and your mind, you are a child of God, you are born again. You are a new creation in The Lord Jesus Christ.   Now what?
If you love him you want a closer relationship with him.  You want to know Him and know what it means to love him.  He has given us not only His word, but also the Holy Spirit of the living God to be with us and in us.  We can only have eternal life if we are born of the water and the spirit.   Our spirit being reconnected with His Spirit, just as it was in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve before the fall. By our new birth we are re-united with our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ and we can walk and talk with them.
It does not matter when you came to know Him.  We all start off with His Seed being planted in our hearts.   And then just as the parable of the sower we must now make choices about how we are going to live our lives.
Luke 8:4–8 (NASB95) 4 When a large crowd was coming together, and those from the various cities were journeying to Him, He spoke by way of a parable: 5 “The sower went out to sow his seed; and as he sowed, some fell beside the road, and it was trampled under foot and the birds of the air ate it up. 6 “Other seed fell on rocky soil, and as soon as it grew up, it withered away, because it had no moisture. 7 “Other seed fell among the thorns; and the thorns grew up with it and choked it out. 8 “Other seed fell into the good soil, and grew up, and produced a crop a hundred times as great.” As He said these things, He would call out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Luke 8:9-15 (NASB95) 9 His disciples began questioning Him as to what this parable meant. 10 And He said, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is in parables, so that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand. 11 “Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God. 12 “Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved. 13 “Those on the rocky soil are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no firm root; they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away. 14 “The seed which fell among the thorns, these are the ones who have heard, and as they go on their way they are choked with worries and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to maturity. 15 “But the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance.
Now, pause just a moment and ask yourself:  “What choices have you made?”
That is a question to you directly. And one that you answer by your actions, deeds and words. God knows what choices you have made in the past and knocking on the door of your heart right now.
Our God is a God of Truth, and we cannot live our lives as if there are multiple answers to the truths He has laid out in His Word. A half-truth is no truth at all; yet most of us are living our lives with the half-truths we have accepted from our society and friends.  Unfortunately that includes our religious society, doctrines and theology as well as the moral and ethical standards that are accepted in our secular society.
Do you want the pure truth that leads to eternal life?  Where can one find the pure truth without opinion or decption?
Directly from the source and that is the only place it can be found.
His Word tells us where to find the truth.  We find the truth by the confirmation and testimony of His Word and His Spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ who is “The Word” and the Holy Spirit of the Living God.  The two will always agree. But their answers and their truth will not always agree with human understanding, doctrines and tradition. It fact it is seldom agrees with the most popular Christian author, or what is currently being taught by many Christian Churches. In fact His Word tells us this just because with human reasoning His Word can be foolishness to man.  Not going to the source but relying upon theology other opinions then allow Satan and his minions deceive, separate and divide.  Proverbs 3 & 1 Corinthians 1:- 3:.
The religious leaders of The Lord Jesus’s time were convinced that the ink on the parchment of the law and the prophets, justified their position and beliefs. However, the truth of His Word was right there in front of them but they were unable to understand it, or even realize what it meant; they just like many today are so convinced that their own understanding of scripture which they have learned or adopted from someone else, is absolutely correct. They were so positive of their religious position in their own carnal minds and human reasoning that they put The Lord Jesus Christ to death for His supposed blasphemy and claim to be the Son of God.
Many of the religious leaders and teachers of our time are no different; they all too easily put to death “The Word God” and the “Deny the Power of God” by their own interpretation of the Bible by their own wisdom and their own human carnal understanding.  What seems to guide them is their seminary training and the following of individual “church fathers” just as the religious leaders of His time were following the teaching and tradition of rabbi’s before them.
Very, very few are willing to stand on, defend and live their life as to what He declares in 2 Peter 1: especially verses 20 and 21.   Many of us want to interpret His Word and convince others that our “opinions” are correct.  But if you will read the passage just as given;  it says:
2 Peter 1:20–21 (NASB95) 20 But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, 21 for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
Don’t you see it is not our job as leaders and teachers?  With all love and respect,  it is no human person’s  job.  Why?  Because His Word tells us so!!
If you are a religious leader that He has called and anointed, He will teach and grow you as far as you are willing to let go of the earthly religious teachings of man and be winnowed, pruned and sifted by the unquenchable fire of Matthew 3:  the true baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire. [go and read it for yourself] He can only fill any vessel with His Pure and True Word if that vessel is willing to let go of what “is not of Him”. Then, if you are willing you will Hear His voice and you will know it is His voice because He will confirm in His Word all that He gives you.
Don’t you see how easy it is to get tied up in the religious teachings of man? We, just as the teachers of His time, can become masters of debate, advocating positions that we justify because of someone else’s opinion or our own position that we obtained in our own wisdom, fractionating verses and weighing the many opinions of others. We can have libraries full of works by men we respect and then try to justify the position we hold by declaring that there are many in our camp in agreement with the position we take.
In blunt and direct words: “Why should anyone care who on this earth agrees or does not agree with His Truth.  If it is truth then it is truth and if you are in agreement with the Truth, The Lord Jesus Christ, then who can come against you. If it is not the truth and simply some tradition or doctrine of a man made organization; why would anyone want to take that position against the Creator of the Universe?
Lord, it is Your truth and Your truth only that we want.
If you are called as a teacher then you are held in direct account of your actions by Him.  He has given you talents and provisions in accordance with your abilities and we each will give an account individually; directly to Him. You see those who are willing, those who He has called to be His disciples and to proclaim His Pure and True Word; Those He has called to Plant Seeds and Water the Garden; these individuals are held to a higher standard. Go and read the letters to Timothy.
The standard we are held to is not a standard that is dependent upon ones best understanding of what others teach or what others proclaim, but to the standard of “His Word” with “Heavenly Understanding”. This only comes directly from Him. Not by any human opinion or human understanding or any poll or voting or opinion from any religious organization, seminary or church group, but only from Him.
Truth is truth, He is Truth; regardless of what the world may say.
It is only He who judges the intent of the heart.  No man knows the intent of another’s heart.
If one has taken the commission of being a teacher and leader then He will equip and provide what is needed but only if the one being commissioned is willing to accept it.
Please understand, human beings are sinful and fallible earthly wisdom and human reasoning does not know and cannot explain His Truth He will reveal His Truth to those who love Him, reverence Him, fear Him, obey Him and are willing to give up the religious teachings of man and fill the well within them with His Pure Word. This is not an overnight process because we are very unwilling in our flesh to give up that which we are so sure of, in our own minds.
Please know and understand this message in love is simply planting the seeds from His Word. It is for the hearer to act accordingly. To act accordingly is very simple: take it all to the Lord and ask Him to show you and teach you. Read His Word in context, in full chapters and books. If you are willing and disciplined to do the assignments He gives in reading His Word then He will reveal with heavenly wisdom and understanding His truth, and will confirm it in His Word.  Please be very careful, the enemy wishes to devour and will interfere and confuse in every way possible.
“The Holy Spirit is our only teacher.” Go and read His promises in John 14: – 17:.  By this statement human wisdom would tell us that we don’t need preachers and teachers on this earth. But don’t you see that is not what He is trying to convey.
Those He calls to be preachers and teachers are those who are willing to only teach what the Holy Spirit “with us” gives. They are the ones who are willing not to teach and put aside their own opinions, their own ideas, doctrines or denominational standards or interpretations of past, present or future events, rote or tradition.  These are the ones He will use.
However, if one continues to interject that which is not of The Lord, after He has clearly given direction and correction, if one clearly rejects that for which He has been commissioned and anointed to do; He and He alone will deal with that person individually. He may continue to use them in some capacity but if they are not walking in what He called them to do, they are not in His Will and will be held accountable.  This is true for all who are called.
The Holy Spirit being our Only Teacher does not mean the Lord does not use individuals from this earth to teach. It means there is only one source of truth. And if one is willing to teach His Pure Truth, then what the Holy Spirit teaches is truly our only teacher.
The milk of the Word is the Salvation Message and can be understood by any whom the Father draws.  However, the meatier part of the word is not understood unless the one hearing has been baptized with the True Holy Spirit of the Living God, (Matthew 3:) is willing to be winnowed and pruned and then are willing to put aside “carnal” wisdom and understanding . (1 Corinthians 1: – 3:)  It is He that will give Heavenly Wisdom and Understanding to those who He has prepared and equipped, and then He will confirm His Truths in His Word, time and time again.
You see truth is truth regardless of what the opinion is of those who hear it. Truth is truth regardless of the opinion is of those who teach from the pulpit or from the printed page. Truth is truth regardless of whether the hearer is a baby Christian who can only digest milk, or a mature Christian that feasts on the meat of the word with Heavenly Wisdom and Understanding.
But please make no mistake about it if one goes to the The Holy Spirit of The Living God with clean hands and a pure heart and inquires [Psalm 25: & 103] the Holy Spirit will give Heavenly Wisdom and Heavenly Understanding [1 Corinthians 1:- 3:], because He is the Pure Truth from the Living God and He will teach those we are willing to listen and reason with the heavenly wisdom and heavenly understanding He is willing to give. Those who Love Him, obey Him and are humble before Him.  Make no mistake about it this promise is for those who are His. He knows the intent of the heart “Our God will not be mocked.” [Read the four gospels and see how The Lord Jesus Christ dealt with the religious leaders of His day]

Father, we come before you and repent of our evil ways.  Please change our hearts, our attitudes and our minds to accept only that which is from you. Do not allow any of us to use earthly wisdom to try to understand heavenly things. We want nothing else but that Truth which is directly from you. Prune, winnow, and sift from us that which is not of you.    It is You that must increase and we must decrease.  All To Your Glory.  Amen
All to His Glory!
