Reverence for the Holy Spirit of the Living God

To His Glory Ministry
Adonai, we come before You today and seek only You.  We honor and praise Your name and ask Lord, that You open our minds to the Pure Truth of Your Word. Fill us with your Holy Spirit and teach us that which is You.  Give us Heavenly Wisdom and Understanding. Lord, give us only that which is the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven taught by our Lord Jesus Christ.  Let no man take any credit, and let no opinion of any man enter that which you are to teach us.  We ask all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.   AMEN

Salvation is a free gift.   Free and given to “whoever believes”.  These are His Words and His Promise.  Being born again is the promise of our Salvation, freely given to all born again believers.  The gift of the Holy Spirit of the Living God, living with us and in us, this is the gift of eternal life.  We have “again gained” or “recovered” that which was lost by Adam and Eve.  Our spirits are re-connected with the Spirit of the Father and we are now His Sons and Daughters.  We are born anew; no longer born of the corruptible and sinful flesh but born of the spirit.  We have been changed.  The Kingdom of Heaven is within us.  The Kingdom of God within us is the Holy Spirit living with us and in us.  Praise God.
We each have a very simple and straight forward choice to make.
Deuteronomy 30:15–20 (The Living Bible) 15 “Look, today I have set before you life and death, depending on whether you obey or disobey. 16 I have commanded you today to love the Lord your God and to follow his paths and to keep his laws, so that you will live and become a great nation, and so that the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to possess. 17 But if your hearts turn away and you won’t listen—if you are drawn away to worship other gods—18 then I declare to you this day that you shall surely perish; you will not have a long, good life in the land you are going in to possess. 19I call heaven and earth to witness against you that today I have set before you life or death, blessing or curse. Oh, that you would choose life; that you and your children might live! 20 Choose to love the Lord your God and to obey him and to cling to him, for he is your life and the length of your days. You will then be able to live safely in the land the Lord promised your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
God is the God of the Living.  There is no sin in Him and there is no death in Him.  The Kingdom of Heaven is life.  The Kingdom of Heaven is Light, there is no darkness in it.  God only created that which is of the Light. (John 1:)
Darkness and death came about as a result of rebellion, sin and pride.  That which is of death and sin is not that which is of God; it is of the enemy.
Matthew 22:29–32 (NASB95) 29 But Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God. 30 “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. 31 “But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God: 32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”
Today we have a poetic tradition of man and religion regarding the Holy Spirit of the Living God that simply does not Honor God. The King James Version of the English Bible in the Old Testament, translated from the Hebrew, refers to the Holy Spirit of the Living God as the “Holy Spirit” or the “Spirit Of God”.  The Hebrew words used in the Torah and The Prophets to describe the Holy Spirit are generally agreed  as the term and name “Ruach Kodesh” or “Ruach haKodesh” which literally means “the Spirit which is Holy” and of course much more in the original language than we are capable of understanding or describing.  Remember, Holiness only comes from God and our God is the Living God; He is Holy!
However in the KJV New Testament, the translators of the 1600’s, translating from the Greek followed Wycliffe’s bible of the 1380’s and co-mingled the English language of their time choosing the English word “ghost” instead of the word “Spirit” when generally referring to the Holy Spirit of the Living God, to make the reference distinct.  This followed the broader word definition in the Greek which did not separate that which was dead or “not Holy” from that which cannot be dead, that which “is Holy”.
The word or word equivalent to “ghost” in the Hebrew, Greek and English all include in their meaning that which is dead; “a dead person’s spirit, a dead creature’s spirit, or that which has perished.”
Please go to any other English translation of the bible and do a word search for the word “ghost” as a standalone word; in every instance, read in it context and you will see it refers to that which is clearly not of God;  “that which is dead”.
No other modern translation of the bible uses this wording [Holy g…] since about 1800. The word is recognized by all who have translated bibles from that time forward as meaning:  “the spirit of that which is dead”.
The question is so simple. How can that which is dead be an attribute of God?  Please do not disrespect our God and King, no matter how poetic you believe it to be and use the term “Holy ghost” when you speak or refer to the Holy Spirit of the Living God.  The term literally means “That which is Holy (that which is God) is “dead” or “a dead spirit”, or “has perished”.  What do you think you are proclaiming to the world when you declare “God is Dead”.  HE IS THE GOD OF THE LIVING; NOT THE GOD OF THE DEAD!  Go, with ears to hear and listen to the words of the Lord Jesus Christ in three Gospels. (Matthew 22: Mark 12: Luke 20:)
If you still doubt this, please open your bible and look up the following passages in the translation you have and read them in context, yes; including the King James or Authorized Version. Open your ears and hear what the Lord has made very clear. In every instance when the word “ghost” is used it clearly refers to “that which is dead”.
His Word will always confirm His Word, go to His Word to confirm His Truth.  Ask Him to take the wax out of your ears and listen.  These are just a few:
Psalm 88:10 (CEB) 10 Do you work wonders for the dead? Do ghosts rise up and give you thanks? Selah
Isaiah 8:19–20 (CEB) 19 If they say to you: “Consult the ghosts and the spirits that chirp and mutter. (Shouldn’t a people consult its gods?) Consult the dead on behalf of the living 20 for instruction and for testimony”—they will surely say such things, but they will never see the dawn.
Isaiah 14:9 (CEB) 9 The underworld beneath becomes restless to greet your arrival. It awakens the ghosts, all the leaders of earth; it makes the kings of the nations rise from their thrones.
Isaiah 26:13–14 (CEB) 13 Lord our God, other masters besides you have ruled us, but we will profess your name alone. 14 The dead don’t live; ghosts don’t rise. Indeed, you have punished and destroyed them, and abolished all memory of them.
Do you not think God is very specific about the words, and the meaning of the words He wants us to use, particularly when referring to His Spirit, The Spirit of the Father, The Holy Spirit of the Living God?   Do you not think His name is important to Him?  Have you read Exodus 3: ?
HE AND HIS NAME ARE HOLY.  Do not doubt that for a moment.  Please read Psalm 29: with discernment, His name is Holy.  If you wish to challenge this and doubt His Holiness; then please read all references in the Old and New Testament and see what happens to those who refuse to acknowledge His Holiness.
He is “The Living God”!  There is no “death”, no “sin”, or un-holiness in Him. He is not the god of the dead; He is the God of the Living.   Seek Him regarding this.
Mark 12:26–27 (AV or KJV) 26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? 27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
If this is something you did not know, then Praise God, He is now showing you. Go to Him and repent, He knows your heart and He will forgive you.  If it means changing some things, or the way you lead praise and worship or your prayers then ask Him to help you do so. He Loves you and will help you.
If this is something you did know and wish to continue in, or just learned from this writing, but are not concerned about it.  Then I simply wish to share:
When someone knowingly speaks or writes in this way, when referring to the Holy Spirit they are openly challenging the Power, The Person and the Authority of He Who Sits upon the Throne.  Not only the Father, and the Son, but also the authority and power of the Kingdom of Heaven, the King of the Universe and all created things. (Please read Matthew 12:, Mark 3:, and Luke 12:)
The book of Jude warns us:  (ESV) “Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones.   The CJB says: Likewise, these people, with their visions, defile their own flesh, despise godly authority and insult angelic beings. When Mikha’el, one of the ruling angels, took issue with the Adversary, arguing over the body of Moshe, he did not dare bring against him an insulting charge, but said, “May Adonai rebuke you.” 10 However, these people insult anything they don’t understand; and what they do understand naturally, without thinking, like animals—by these things they are destroyed!
Also please read all of 2nd Peter 2:, it is sobering and a extremely direct confirmation as well.  Ask Him, seek Him, He will confirm.
Just because we as flesh may not be concerned about the meanings of the words we use does not mean that we will not be held accountable. Those put into positions of teaching and authority are held to a higher standard. (James 3:1)  It is God who judges the heart, and it is to Him we are held accountable, He is our righteous Judge.
Lord, THANK YOU for clearly showing this to us.  We know we should not be a part of that which does not please God.  So read and pray about the warning He gives:
Hebrews 10:26–31 (The Living Bible) 26 If anyone sins deliberately by rejecting the Savior after knowing the truth of forgiveness, this sin is not covered by Christ’s death; there is no way to get rid of it. 27 There will be nothing to look forward to but the terrible punishment of God’s awful anger, which will consume all his enemies. 28 A man who refused to obey the laws given by Moses was killed without mercy if there were two or three witnesses to his sin. 29 Think how much more terrible the punishment will be for those who have trampled underfoot the Son of God and treated his cleansing blood as though it were common and unhallowed, and insulted and outraged the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to his people. 30 For we know him who said, “Justice belongs to me; I will repay them”; who also said, “The Lord himself will handle these cases.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
If you have been called, put in a position of authority and Love by The Lord, why would you knowingly continue to speak or write in such a way.  Doing so in ignorance is one thing.  But for those who are reading this, that is no longer the case.  It is not just the Spirit of the Father that one addresses when speaking of the Holy Spirit of the Living God, but all of the Heavenly Host as well; directly challenging the Authority and Power of He Who Sits Upon the Throne and the Lamb who was slain and the Power and Spirit of God; The Entire Kingdom of Heaven.
I tremble in fear of the Lord as I write this.  It is He, who we are to Humble ourselves before, Fear with Holy reverence and Obey His commands.   Ask the Holy Spirit of the Living God with you and in you to teach you.  (John 14:) “Lean not upon our own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:)
He will show you His Truth, if you Ask, Seek and Knock.  He will confirm, He will show, and He will teach regarding all of these matters, if you have ears to hear and eyes to see, if you are willing to surrender your pride. The pride of religious teachings and human wisdom, tradition and rote.
Praise God, if you are willing He will take each one of us through the refiners fire, burning away the dross, He will prune away that which is in you and not of Him.  With His winnowing fork He will separate the grain from the chaff.  He will baptize you with His Holy Spirit giving you Heavenly Wisdom and Understanding. He will throw the chaff and the pruned branches into the fire to be burned. Listen to the Holy Spirit of the Living God. You cannot be baptized with the Holy Spirit by the Lord Jesus Christ unless you are winnowed and pruned and go through the refiner’s fire, the dross must be removed.
Matthew 3:10–12 (NASB95) 10 “The axe is already laid at the root of the trees; therefore every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 “As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 “His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
It is He who teaches the things of God with Heavenly Wisdom.  He is Wisdom, no one else can teach you and neither should you allow anyone else to do so, He is our teacher. He will put others in our path that may plant the seeds and water the garden with the Pure and Living Water of our Lord Jesus Christ, but clearly understand and make no mistake; it is He, Our Lord God, who will cause the growth in you. (1 Corinthians 1; – 3:)
This can only happen after He changes our hearts of stone to fertile soil.  Has your heart been changed to fertile soil? Is it your desire that your heart should be changed?  Do you have the ears to hear and the eyes to see?  (Isaiah 6:)  (Jeremiah 33:)
His blessing will be to do this work in your heart.  His blessing will be to give you ears to hear and eyes to see.  If you are willing to surrender all to Him, seek Him and Him alone.  Go to your secret place and seek the Father. Ask Him, He wants nothing more than to give you the riches of His Word.
There is nothing He will give you that He does not confirm His Word.
Always test every Spirit.  (1 John 4:)
With Love; in Gentleness and Respect,

All To His Glory, Honor and Praise alone.
